About APAIET

Overview
APAIET, the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education and Trade Inc., is an incorporated association based in Melbourne, Australia. It operates as a project-based platform for cross-border education and trade cooperation, working with institutions, enterprises, industry partners and relevant stakeholders.
亚太国际教育和贸易协会（APAIET）是注册于澳大利亚墨尔本的协会组织，以项目制平台方式推动跨境教育与贸易合作，合作对象覆盖院校、企业、产业伙伴及相关机构。
The China Council is APAIET's representative body for Greater China, with operations based in Chengdu and Shanghai. It coordinates programme development, institutional engagement and talent pathway design across both countries.
中国理事会为协会在大中华区的代表机构，运营基地位于成都与上海，统筹两国间的项目开发、机构对接与人才路径设计。

A dual mandate
Education develops people. Trade gives that capability somewhere to land. APAIET exists to keep the two connected: education programmes are designed against real industry demand, and trade cooperation is anchored in the talent those programmes develop.

Governance
APAIET operates through a central secretariat based in Melbourne, coordinating cross-border programme initiatives. Participants engage on a project basis rather than through fixed membership structures, keeping cooperation practical, trackable and outcome-oriented.

One flagship convening each year in Greater China: a launch forum presenting the platform, industry roundtables connecting institutions with enterprises, and a signing ceremony that settles dialogue into concrete cooperation. Coordination structure
The China Council operates as a project-based coordination unit within APAIET, supporting cross-border education and trade cooperation across Australia and Greater China. It brings together participating institutions, industry partners and relevant stakeholders to facilitate programme development, implementation and ongoing collaboration.
中国理事会作为协会体系下的项目协同单元运行，支持中澳跨境教育与贸易合作的组织与推进，联合院校、产业及相关合作方开展项目设计、实施协调与持续合作。
Rather than functioning as a formal governing body, the Council operates through flexible, project-oriented coordination.
该机制不作为独立治理机构运作，而以项目协同方式灵活推进各项合作。
